Flora & Fauna
The inspiration of this collection is drawn from the Ernst Haekl book "Kunstform der Natur". Haekl's work consists of 100 illustrations of various microorganisms described as "not just a book of illustrations, but a summation of his view of the world".
Working with Haekl's themes, the Flora and Fauna collection embodies the language of the patterns of life forms. Whether sea, land or sky, organisms are integrated through an essence of form. This idea is revealed through the shapes and materials in this collection, using jewellery as the expression of an abstract oneness of living beings.
Every piece in the Flora and Fauna collection is one of a kind and handmade by Hongxia Wang.
