Kim Buck is not only a goldsmith , but a maker illustrating and rewriting the perceptions of what defines jewellery, while at the same time dismantling it's boundaries. Having owned his studio and gallery in the historical center of Copenhagen since 1989, Kim's experience also includes teaching as a professor at various educational institutions and participating in both solo and group exhibitions, and museum collections around the world.

Though Kim's jewellery lives as a testament of technical research, it is equally as relevant that the pieces are contemporary in their material, expressions, and questions raised. Kim dares to reflect the common values associated with jewellery, in efforts to rewrite and possibly rearrange. Yet, at the same time and with equal intention, creating jewellery that longs to be worn.
